CUE / 01 · PUBLIC BETA

Feedback with a line to follow.

Point at the part of a live page that needs work. Cueplane keeps the cue, the screenshot, and the project evidence together before handing one useful brief to the coding agent already on your machine.

SETUP / 02

One command puts the bridge in place.

Cueplane has two local pieces: an unpacked Chrome extension for capture and a background companion that lets Chrome reach the native agent you already use. There is no SaaS account to create.

01 / COMPANION background

Install the local bridge

On macOS or Linux, run this once. It downloads the verified extension, prepares the companion, and starts it in the background. Close the terminal when it finishes.

curl -fsSL https://cueplane.sasid.ai/install.sh -o /tmp/cueplane-install.sh && sh /tmp/cueplane-install.sh
macOS + Linux betano terminal kept openno target-app source changesWindows native launch unverified
02 / EXTENSION one-time

Load the capture surface

  1. 1 Open chrome://extensions.
  2. 2 Turn on Developer mode.
  3. 3 Choose Load unpacked.

Chrome Web Store publication is being prepared. This beta is not listed in the Store yet.

COMPATIBILITY The installed folder remains ~/.local/share/dev-feedback/extension for this release. The companion is required because Chrome cannot launch a native CLI by itself.

PROJECT PROOF / 03

The page points.
Evidence decides.

Cueplane identifies the project serving the page before a session can start. The review screen shows the detected folder, machine, agent connection, and evidence so you can check the destination yourself.

If several signed-in connections are ready for the verified folder, an agent connection is optional. The project match is not.

ROUTING CHECK evidence required
01
LOCALHOST / LISTENERExact process, executable, and canonical working directory.

For localhost it checks the exact listening PID, executable and canonical working directory.

✓
02
DEPLOYED / REPOSITORYKnown metadata or matching build evidence.

Supported signals include package.json homepage, CNAME, Caddyfile, deploy-script domains, or two distinct same-origin asset hashes matching local build output.

✓
03
AMBIGUOUS / STOPPage titles, HTML and source hints are never enough.

When evidence is missing, conflicting, or matches more than one project, Cueplane refuses to guess.

THE HANDOFF / 04

A visible path from the browser to your agent.

Every submission is one fresh session in the verified canonical folder. The evidence stays attached to the cue that produced it.

01 / CAPTURE

Browser screenshot + cue

Alt/Option-click the element, then speak or type what needs attention. The selected screenshot remains tied to its captured event ID.

02 / GROUP

One grouped brief

Review the detected destination and collect related cues in one handoff. Capture-time proof and submission revalidation catch local port reuse.

03 / LAUNCH

Your own agent session

Choose Submit all feedback. Codex opens a new desktop task; Claude starts its local CLI session first, with optional signed-in Desktop import afterward.

DESKTOP DETAILS / 05

Your local tools stay in their own apps.

Cueplane is the bridge between a moment in the browser and the coding environment you already trust.

01

Codex opens the new chat in Codex Desktop. The current desktop groups these chats under Tasks.

02

Claude runs the fresh local session first. Claude Desktop must already be signed into the selected account; import happens after the CLI session exits. If Desktop import is unavailable, the companion shows the session ID for manual resume.

03

The companion runs in the background and does not keep a terminal open. Capture stays local until you submit it to your selected coding agent.

04

This public site serves the guide, installer, and release download. It has no agent, control, credential, feedback, or audio endpoint.
